From 1996 to 2001, Nobody's Fool ® rocked North Central Ohio with the best in 60's and 70's Classic Rock, Blues, R&B, as well as newer Rock in the same style. Believing that the Classics never go out of style, they were dedicated to the musical inventiveness and improvisation that was a hallmark of that era. The three members of Nobody's Fool were veterans of that musical era as well. Not content to merely "copy" the music, they actively tried to infuse it with fresh ideas, stretching their own musical muscles, and giving 100% to the performance.
When you listened to Nobody's Fool ®, you heard music made famous by artists such as the Allman Brothers, Eric Clapton, The Rolling Stones, John Cougar Mellencamp, Led Zeppelin, Wilson Pickett, Jimi Hendrix, Bad Company, The Kinks, The Beatles, Van Morrison, Buddy Holly, and ZZ Top, all done with a fresh approach and new life. They were not limited to the hits of the past, choosing the best of today's music in the same vein. Nobody's Fool believed in having fun with the music, even while they strived for technical excellence in their performances. To sum it up, Nobody's Fool was, well, nobody's fool when it comes to good music, having fun, and wanting to be everyone's favorite band. A Lofty goal? Sure, but Rock & Roll is best experienced live, on the dance floor, and not as a college course or discussion topic.Live Music Rules!

Jim Bush and Jerry Bandy left at the end of 1996, and Tom Getz joined at that time.
Tom left at the end of 1998, and Rich joined up with us and was our drummer to the end. Tom Getz was our drummer when we opened for Peter Green, and his son Sam sat in with us at some of the gigs, dazzling the audience with his precocious ability as a lead guitarist. Tom and his son Sam have gone on to form the Sam Getz Band, playing the Cleveland area.
Jim Bush and I briefly played together again in the "Rockets", and Jerry Bandy and I have jammed together and talked about resurrecting the band. Jerry, myself, Steve Stone, and Ralph Lake joined together as Nobody's Fool for a one-off weekend at the Den in Mansfield, OH. Thanksgiving 2001. Since then the band has not played out in any form.
